Responses to the 2018 Ag Equipment Survey will directly determine how much funding is allocated to the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) equipment turnover incentive programs. The Almond Board of California, along with several other groups, is urging producers, operators and first processors to take the survey.
CARB has contracted with Cal Poly University to create an online survey as well as a printable version. All of the responses will be completely anonymous as the system will remove any identifying information. The Almond Board of California stated in an email that the survey is similar to one done in 2008 and covers all mobile agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, balers, agricultural-use ATVs, forklifts and more. The online survey takes only a few minutes to complete and the printable version can be returned to your local Farm Bureau. The deadline for input is March 30. Take the survey now.
