Almond Board: Silent Auction Donations Being Accepted

Almond Board of California
The Almond Board is now accepting donations for its 2014 Silent Auction at its yearly conference. It helps fund California FFA scholarships. Almond Board Intern Rebecca Bailey says last year the silent auction was a big success.

This is made possible by the help of California almond industry members who donated items to the Almond Conference Silent Auction. Bailey says now is the time to jump on the bandwagon of giving for 2014. When you donate an item to the Silent Auction this year, 100 percent of the proceeds will again be donated to the California FFA Association and be used for scholarships. Many businesses or individuals may have more than one item to donate, and there is room for them all.2014 silent auction flyer

This is an easy step for industry members to take to help secure the future. Help make a difference in a graduating student’s life by donating. If you’re interested in donating items for the silent auction at this year’s Almond Conference, which will be held Dec. 9–11 at the Sacramento Convention Center, please contact Rebecca Bailey at the Almond Board or call 209-343-3245. – See more at: http://www.almonds.com/newsletters/outlook/ffa-students-go-college-scholarships-silent-auction-almond-conference?from-section=2881#sthash.cw6tFH4C.dpuf
