In today’s Almond Update, Bob Curtis, Almond Board Associate Director of Agricultural Affairs, tells us about the importance of harvest sampling.
Curtis says it’s important to get a representative sample, taking nuts from several areas of the orchard. He says once you have the sample, you can freeze or refrigerate it, then go back and look for insect damage.
