Northern California growers are getting ready for their big yearly Almond Field Day on May 14th. The event starts at 9:00 a.m. at the Nickels estate in Arbuckle, California and will cover a variety of topics from hedging almonds to irrigation management. UC Farm Advisor Franz Niederholzer says they try to keep the information as timely as possible at the annual event.
