Today, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced a new Farm Bill provision that will provide direct relief to farmers affected by severe weather, including drought. Spring crops eligible for APH Yield exclusion for the 2015 crop year will include corn, soy beans, spring wheat, cotton, grain sorghum, rice, barley, canola, sunflowers, peanuts and popcorn.
