Everett Griner talks about how farming technology continues to grow in today’s Agri View.
Farming Technology
I probably had a dozen or more stories in the last year about new mechanical devices that are being invented, developed and produced to help farmers produce and harvest a crop. Machine and tools that can replace the human hand. We call it technology. The development of this technology isn’t likely to cease any time soon. It is driven by need. One item currently under development is the mechanical strawberry picker. You see, strawberries is a crop that has to be picked when they are ready. The amount of help both required might not be available when it is needed. Next week will be too late. And there are other crops that are just like strawberries. So, build a machine. A machine can be put to work anytime and save a crop. By the way, did you know that a hoe was once a piece of farm technology?
That’s Agri View for today. I’m Everett Griner.
