AgNet West Farm News Director Sabrina Hill teamed up with KJWL, a sister-station to AgNet West’s Fresno affiliate KFIG, and the Fresno Grizzlies Community Fund to bring some Christmas cheer to the young patients at Children’s Hospital Central California.

KJWL served as a drop-off location for Hill’s toy drive for the hospital and promoted the drive on-air. The station collected dozens of toys for the kids. KJWL representative Jenna Lange joined Hill and her daughter in delivering the toys. They also did crafts with the children and helped them write letters to Santa.

For the past few holiday seasons, Hill has served as a local Mrs.Claus, visiting hospitals, nursing homes, and community organizations to hand out gifts along with candy canes and hugs. Her daughter now also volunteers as an elf.

We want to thank Jenna Lange of KJWL, Risa Isard of the Fresno Grizzlies, and Amy Russo of Children’s Hospital Central California for their part in the toy and magazine drive.
