According to California Citrus Mutual (CCM), this year’s Citrus Showcase will include a tarping demonstration and marketing discussion along with the latest information for the industry.
CCM’s Citrus Showcase March 2 at the Visalia Convention Center. The annual meeting gets the latest huanglongbing (HLB), Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) and water management research out to growers.
CCM Vice President Bob Blakely said this year’s showcase will also include a marketing discussion. “We’ve got a really good program planned. We’ve got workshops on water, ACP and HLB, of course, (including) how the California citrus industry is fighting that deadly disease,” he said. “We’ve also got a very good lunchtime program. It’s a roundtable-type discussion on a marketing program. Several leading marketers in the industry will participating.”
In addition, there will be a tarping demonstration for the regulation that begins March 1.
