On Monday, after the House and Senate Ag Committee leaders finished signing their names they released the 2018 Farm Bill Conference Report. The two-year long process of proposals and compromise on both sides has officially been approved and structured into a bipartisan bill that is said to benefit farmers, families and rural communities.
Many people commented on the process and supported the completion of the report. Others wished there was more reform along with more emphasis on certain topics including forest management and pest and disease control. Overall members, U.S. officials and agriculture organizations welcomed the report.
