Theft has been an ongoing issue for the agriculture industry for years. People steal fruits and nuts, agriculture equipment, livestock and now personal items of field crew members. While theft can happen anywhere, recent reports of theft in Monterey County pushed the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office to send out an alert, warning field crews to properly secure their items while they are at work.
