Maybe you have noticed, maybe not. Those huge reflector screens are becoming more and more common in rural areas. Everett Griner talks about the reflectors used to generate renewable energy in rural areas in today’s Agri View. They provide cheaper electricity in chicken houses, dairy farm, and even rural homes.
One of America’s biggest farm organizations is quoted as saying “solar power is coming on fast and furious”. Because it is 
convenient and, in the long term, it is more economical. It can reduce the overall cost of running a farm. Especially a large farm.
Solar energy does not eliminate all the need for commercial electricity. It is slowly moving toward total replacement. Like all innovations, it will take time. It is pretty safer to say that solar energy is here to stay.
