Whether students attend a public or private school in a rural or urban area, they should have the ability to know the value of agriculture and where their food comes from.
Agriculture in the Classroom has been around for more than 30 years providing educators with the curriculum that incorporates agriculture into their everyday teachings. The organization has a website which features farm facts sheets, contests, a magazine, available programs, upcoming events, grants, scholarships and much more. Executive Director Judy Culbertson, talks about her experience learning about ag and why, regardless of what community a student is brought up in, it is imperative they understand about the industry.
