World Ag Expo 2026 Is Almost Here
World Ag Expo 2026 is set to return to Tulare, California, on February 10, 11, and 12, and excitement is building fast as one of the world’s largest agricultural trade shows prepares to welcome attendees from across the globe.

Marketing Manager for World Ag Expo
According to Megan Lausten, Marketing Manager for World Ag Expo, preparations are already in full motion, and the scale of the event becomes more visible by the day. From massive equipment moving onto the grounds to exhibitors finalizing displays, the countdown to show week is well underway.
Equipment Move-In and Year-Round Planning
Exhibitor move-in officially began on January 26, with heavy equipment, tractors, and large displays steadily arriving at the International Agri-Center. Lawsten noted that activity on the grounds increases every day as exhibitors get set for the show.
One of the most recognizable features of World Ag Expo is the bark and wood chip pathways that stretch across the expansive grounds. Bark is brought in well ahead of time and made available to exhibitors who want to enhance their booth spaces. In some years, bark is also offered for sale after the show, with details posted on the World Ag Expo website or available through the Expo office.
Planning for World Ag Expo is never limited to a single year. Lawsten explained that preparations for future shows are already underway, and exhibitors are able to renew their space for World Ag Expo 2027 as early as Wednesday during this year’s event.
A Major Economic Driver for Tulare County
World Ag Expo delivers a substantial economic boost to the region, generating more than $60 million in economic impact for Tulare County alone.
Equally important are the people who make the show possible. More than 1,000 volunteers support World Ag Expo each year, many of whom begin working months in advance. During the show, volunteers can be easily identified by their bright orange jackets and volunteer lanyards. Many have volunteered for years and are deeply connected to the local agricultural community, helping visitors navigate the grounds and learn more about the event.
Free Seminars and Educational Programming
Each day of World Ag Expo—Tuesday through Thursday—features a full schedule of free seminars, included with paid admission. Seminars are held in the Seminar Center and cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Dairy and livestock
- Farm safety
- Succession planning
- Emerging agricultural issues
The sessions are designed to provide practical, timely information for farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness professionals.
Women’s Conference Pavilion Returns in 2026
The Women’s Conference Pavilion, introduced in 2025, returns this year with an expanded lineup. The timing is especially meaningful, as the United Nations has declared 2026 the International Year of the Woman Farmer.
On Tuesday, the pavilion will host a networking event in partnership with the California Department of Food and Agriculture and California Grown, featuring cooking demonstrations using California Grown products. On Thursday, another networking event will take place with United Ag, along with a panel discussion highlighting women working in agricultural technology and artificial intelligence.
Livestock Events and New FFA Programming
The W.W. Livestock Pavilion will again be a focal point of the show. Wednesday features a live cattle auction that will be broadcast, while Tuesday introduces a brand-new event: FFA students conducting live auctioneering as part of their qualification process for state competition.
This new addition highlights the Expo’s continued focus on youth engagement and agricultural education.
Navigating the Expo: App, Parking, and Trams

With more than 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space and approximately 1,200 exhibitors, planning ahead is essential. Lawsten strongly recommends downloading the World Ag Expo mobile app, available for Apple and Android devices.
The app allows attendees to:
- Create a free “My Show Planner”
- View exhibitor lists
- Map routes across the grounds
- Track seminars and events
- Navigate in real time using GPS mapping
Transportation options are designed for convenience. Free Park-and-Ride services operate from multiple locations in Visalia, Tulare, and Exeter, dropping attendees directly at Expo entrance gates. On-site parking is also free for those who choose to drive.
Once inside, attendees should be prepared to walk, but trams are available throughout the grounds to help visitors move between areas when needed.
World Ag Expo is a rain-or-shine event, and attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly, with comfortable shoes or boots if weather conditions require.
Agriculture Education for Families and Students
World Ag Expo welcomes visitors of all backgrounds, not just those already working in agriculture. Education is a core mission of the International Agri-Center, and the show reflects that commitment.
The AgVentures Learning Center, located in the Heritage Complex, offers interactive learning experiences for children, helping them understand how agriculture impacts everyday life. The center features special activities during the show and remains open year-round, along with the on-site Antique Farm Equipment Museum.
Students exploring future careers can visit the Ag Career and Education Pavilion, sponsored by Strauss. The pavilion connects youth with colleges, universities, and educational institutions focused on agriculture, providing insight into career pathways and academic opportunities.
A Global Agricultural Gathering
World Ag Expo is truly international in scope. In 2025, attendees and exhibitors represented approximately 80 countries, and similar global participation is expected again in 2026.
Visitors from around the world come to Tulare County—one of the top agricultural-producing counties in the nation—to see cutting-edge technology, network with industry leaders, and experience agriculture at scale.
Innovation Spotlight: Top 10 New Products
One of the most anticipated features of World Ag Expo is the Top 10 New Products Competition, which highlights emerging innovations across agriculture. While many winning products focus on automation and technology, others offer simple, practical solutions that improve efficiency.
All Top 10 products are displayed at the show and clearly marked with Top 10 New Product flags and a yellow star on the grounds map, making them easy for attendees to find.
Food Booths That Give Back
World Ag Expo is also well known for its food. All food booths are operated by local nonprofit organizations, including schools and community groups. When attendees purchase meals, they directly support those organizations.
Collectively, food booths raised more than $1 million last year, making dining at the Expo both enjoyable and impactful.
