In another big step toward complete sustainability, a Napa Valley winery has gone 100 percent solar. Sabrina Hill has the story.

Trefethen Family Vineyards was already know for it’s environmentally- friendly practices, like using biodiesel fuels in their trucks and tractors, recycling winery wastewater for irrigation, and other methods.

John Ruel is the winery’s C.O.O. and Director of Viticulture and Enology. He says the initial investment in the conversion to solar will be paid back in less than 10 years.
