The UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) team has created a new resource for farmers and ranchers that can help bolster agritourism in their areas and expand on a new income stream opportunity as interest and demand for agricultural tourism continues to grow. UC ANR is now offering a tool compiling multiple areas of information through its California Agritourism website.
The new website includes articles, checklists, guides, and other materials compiled by UC ANR advisors and staff, as well as agritourism stakeholders and educators. There are also links to useful agritourism resources created by other universities and organizations. For many years UC ANR has worked with the agriculture industry to further develop agritourism opportunities, through programs and resources coordinated by the Small Farm Program, the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program, and the Agriculture and Nature Tourism work group.
