While making a visit to the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Convention in New Orleans, United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Purdue talked about trade. He mentioned there is work still to be done with China, the Trans Pacific Partnership and the European Union trade deals he reassured the audience that the USDA is working on gaining access in other markets. Purdue said the department is open to all counties and “everybody that eats, that’s who is on the table.”
