Meetings will provide information to growers who are interested in the new strawberry crop insurance program.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Risk Management Agency will provide an overview of the new strawberry insurance program.
The program is based on the grower’s own revenue history and protects growers against losses from low yield, low price, or any combination of these events. The insurance is federally subsidized to help lower the cost for growers.
USDA will discuss how the insurance program can work for you, requirements, purchase dates, and where to purchase the crop insurance. The meetings will be held on the following dates and locations:

600 East Esplanade Drive
Oxnard, CA 93036
June 14, 2016
