Cathy Isom tells us about the world’s largest rooftop farm. The pioneers behind the nation’s first commercial urban hydroponic greenhouses are now builders of one of the world’s largest.

Today Gotham Greens fourth greenhouse facility, built in Chicago, represents a massive expansion for the company. Its first outside of New York. The state of the art, 75-thousand square foot greenhouse is located on a rooftop.

It is powered by 100-percent renewable energy. It will produce nearly 10 million annual crops of local, premium-quality, pesticide-free, leafy greens and herbs.
