Some plants that have no problem standing up to summer heat. That’s coming up on This Land of Ours.
Even on the hottest summer days there are many flowers and plants that really don’t mind it. So you can still count on making some beautiful floral arrangements from these sun-loving plants.
Gerber Daisies is one example of a cut flower that loves a little heat. The smoke bush is another. This wonderful tall bush-like flower is also highly drought-tolerant. The Green Trick Dianthus, a member of the carnation family, also performs well in the heat. Hellebores are low maintenance flower foliage plants that will make a great addition to any arrangement.
If you’re looking for something that’s easy maintenance, try planting the heat-tolerant Viburnum, Magnolia Foliage, Agapanthus, Roses, Gardenias, and of course Sun Flowers. All do very well in the summer time and don’t require a lot of watering.
