Richard Matoian is the Executive Director of American Pistachio Growers. He says the numbers look very good. Matoian says the shipment numbers just add on to the good year growers had last season.
He adds that the future is looking profitable right now too.
California produces more than 98 percent of the nation’s pistachios.
