There’s a field meeting coming up this week for prune growers and PCAs who work with prune growers.

It’s sponsored by University of California Cooperative Extension and planned for Friday, September 13, in the Yuba City area.
The primary purpose of the meeting is to demonstrate and discuss diseased wood removal and renewal of older prune orchards. There will also be discussion of bacterial canker in prunes.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m., with sign -in and coffee beginning a half an hour earlier. It’s expected the meeting will last no more than two hours.
