Cathy Isom has some great tips for you about getting your February Garden checklist in order. That’s coming up on This Land of Ours.
Now that we are one month closer to Spring, let the gardening prep work begin. And February is just the right time to start seeds, especially if you’re in a region that isn’t allowing you to venture outside and get your hands in the dirt just yet.
Meantime, indoors you can start onions, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and brussel sprouts. Be sure you have all of the supplies you need, including all of your seeds of course, and check that grow lights are functioning, too.
Use this month to get everything organized. It’s difficult to know what you need more of if you don’t know what you have to begin with. Get organized. Take the time put your seeds in order from the seeds you’ll start first all the way down to those which should be direct sowed. You’ll then want to shop and look for local deals. Search for all of your seed starting needs and give yourself time to price compare.
