Farm City Newsday

Get the latest agriculture news in today’s Farm City Newsday, hosted today by Taylor Hillman. In today’s show, we have a good tip about remaining compliant with lockout/tagout/blockout as sometimes operations can miss the big picture. It’s warming up around the state but the wet weather has complicated weed management, Brian German has a report on that and story about one legislative item involving worker housing that is moving fast through the system.

Also, the Almond Board of California held their annual stewardship tour where officials see firsthand what the industry is doing in the supply chain. We have a full interview on that later in the show, and the Center for Produce Safety is funding some projects again but this time they must be possible solutions to some of the outbreaks we have seen in the leafy green industry over the last several years. All of that and more in today’s Farm city Newsday.
