A central valley food expo is fast approaching with a few changes that may benefit growers this year. AgNet West’s Taylor Hillman has the story.
Expo Changes Increase Opportunities
The 2014 Fresno Food Expo is July 24 in Fresno. The city moved the event this year from March to the peak of the growing season in July. Organizers say this was a much talked about change that made sense for an agriculture rich area. Local business initiatives manager with the city of Fresno, Amy Fuentes, says the change not only has continued the increase in buyers attending year to year, but it has changed the type of buyers attending.
