CornPAC, the political action committee of the National Corn Growers Association, has launched a new website in advance of its annual auction fundraiser at Commodity Classic.

Through the new website, cornpac.ncga.com, members can donate to the PAC, purchase auction tickets, donate auction items, and view featured auction items. New auction items are being added daily. On the website, members can also learn more about the PAC and its role in our advocacy efforts.

“Corn farmers are directly affected by the makeup of Congress. CornPAC is one tool we use to support candidates and elected officials who are willing to learn more about our industry, and who have a track record of supporting the policy priorities of corn farmers,” said Gene Baumgardner, President of the CornPAC Committee and a farmer from Ohio. “Becoming a CornPAC member is an easy way for corn farmers to be more involved in the political process, and pool together their resources for greatest impact.”

The CornPAC Auction is the annual fundraiser for the PAC, featuring both a live and silent auction, food, drink, and camaraderie. The 2016 CornPAC Auction theme is “Down on the Bayou.” The event will be held the evening of Wednesday, March 2, at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans.

“The CornPAC Committee is excited to welcome you to New Orleans with Cajun hospitality and charm. We encourage everyone to purchase their auction tickets online before Classic,” said Baumgardner. “It’s one less hassle to worry about at Commodity Classic – and you get to skip the lines and go straight to Will Call. Plus, you’ll have a sneak preview of all the great auction items up for sale.”

Members must register for access to the CornPAC website. Registrations are typically processed within 24 hours. For more information, visit cornpac.ncga.com.
