California Agricultural Leadership Program Focuses on Developing Leaders

The 17-month California Agricultural Leadership Program is designed to develop leadership skills among people working throughout California agriculture.

According to the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation, the program is focused on helping participants navigate change, strengthen their organizations and communities and contribute to the future of California agriculture.

The program brings together individuals with different backgrounds and experiences within the industry, giving participants the opportunity to expand their leadership skills while gaining a broader perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing California agriculture.

Class 56 to Help Shape the Future of Agriculture

The selection of 24 participants marks the beginning of a new chapter for Class 56 as they take part in the California Agricultural Leadership Program.

Leadership development continues to be an important focus for an industry facing a wide range of challenges, from changing regulations and market conditions to labor, environmental and resource concerns. Programs such as this one are designed to equip agricultural professionals with the skills needed to help their organizations and communities adapt.
