With the sound of bagpipes and the National Anthem, the California Farm Bureau Federation’s 94th Annual Meeting General Session is underway in Pasadena.
Federation president Paul Wenger kicked off the session by commenting on the freedoms Americans have, quoting Ronald Regan, and discussing hot topics such as taxes and timber harvest. He called for a fix for agriculture immigration, saying California needs immigration reform for the full success of agriculture. He also told the audience farm bureau membership is a “main focus that we have to be involved with”.
