The California Department of Food and Agriculture released the April 2014 Dairy Information Bulletin today. Production of all milk on farms and ranches in California during April 2014 totaled 3.671 billion pounds, 1.5 percent more than the quantity produced during April 2013. For the 12 months ending April 2014, total milk production increased 1.4 percent as compared to the same period the previous year.
