Another project out of the 2019 Almond Leadership Program is creatively raising money for California Future Farmers of America. Grizzly Nut and leadership program participant Falastine ‘Fill’ Munoz is a mother of three and when her oldest didn’t know what she did at the almond company, she saw an opportunity to help children connect with their food.
The book is called ‘Almonds: Shake, Sweep, and Eat’. It’s available on Amazon and about $1.50 of every book will be donated to FFA scholarships. Munoz said the support so far has been amazing.
