Food Production Impact

I thought I was reading another article by an anti-farmer environmentalist until about half way through it hit me. This is a pro farm writer being facetious. He was advocating outlawing all animal farming. Halting all pesticide and fungicide use. And ending all GMO production. Now you just think how that would change the climate. And how healthy our environment would be. Then he began to show how these changes would really impact society. It would reduce food production by one-third in two years. Now imagine the whole population shopping for food with one-third of the shelves and the counters empty. They wouldn’t be shopping. They would be fighting for food! And that available would not be as clean and as healthy as it is now. And think about this. And realize there are real people advocating just such a policy right now.

That’s Agri View for today, I’m Everett Griner.
