Registration is available for the upcoming California Plant and Soil Conference, happening February 4 and 5 in Fresno. The California chapter of the American Society of Agronomy (CA-ASA) is presenting the 2020 California Plant and Soil Conference at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Fresno Convention Center. The conference offers PCA/pesticide applicators, CCA, and nutrient management continuing education credits.
The conference begins on Tuesday, February 4 and will feature presentations on topics such as cereal crop nitrogen management, subsurface drip irrigation, soil amendments, and water quality regulatory updates. The presentations will be followed up by an evening social and poster session. The breakout sessions on Wednesday, February 5 will cover best management practices for controlling pesticides in agriculture runoff, plant breeding, organic production, and pest management. The day will conclude with a CA-ASA business meeting as well as an awards luncheon.
