U.S. Wheat Associates on TPP Package

Back in 2009, President Obama announced the intention of the U.S. to participate in the Trans Pacific Partnership, or TPP negotiations. Those negotiations have been ongoing, and the meeting held in mid May is now raising questions. It seems that while still wanting to be part of the TPP, Japan is looking to shield its primary agricultural products from competition. Shannon Schlecht, Director of Policy for U.S. Wheat Associates, comments.
