A second parasitic wasp has been released to bolster the biological control of the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP).

Second Wasp to Help Tamarixia

Growers heard about a 2-year trial that looked at tamarixia wasps for ACP biological control earlier this month at a citrus growers’ seminar series. Cooperative Extension Specialist Mark Hoddle worked on that project and showed growers how a second wasp has been released that should complement tamarixia.
