Ranching and California’s Drought Workshop and Webcast

UCCE logoThe University of California Cooperative Extension’s Natural Resource and Watershed Advisor, Royce Larsen is hosting a ranching and drought webcast of a workshop taking place at the University of California Davis campus and will be available for viewing at the San Luis Obispo Cooperative Extension Auditorium at 2156 Sierra Way, on Friday November 7, 2104. Scientists from the University of California and speakers from the National Drought Mitigation Center, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration and United States Department of Agriculture will discuss what the National Drought Monitor means for ranchers, how California’s ranchers are coping with the drought, new feeding strategies for livestock, the weather forecast for the upcoming forage growing season and much more.
