Cooperative Extension Farm Advisor Franz Niederholzer says some northern California plum producers are seeing high gopher damage this year. He says a change is irrigation efficiency has done away with some anti-gopher practices. Niederholzer says growers will need to stay on top of management on a yearly basis.
