California growers are getting an incentive to increase cling peach production.

According to the California Farm Bureau, farmers who planted new cling peach orchards have the opportunity to get 20-year contracts from the largest peach processors in the state. Demand for canned peaches has surpassed the current domestic supply, so processors are looking for ways to entice California farmers to plant more acreage.
