The Almond Board of California’s Industry Resource Map, located on both the growers and processors websites, is nearly updated for the next fiscal year. The Resource Map is a simple tool that easily connects growers and processors to various members of the almond industry, from those working in Alternative Energy Solutions and Computer Software/Programming to County Agricultural Commissioners and Insurance Specialists. Those who take advantage of the Almond Board’s Resource Map will have pages and pages of contact information located right at their fingertips.

To search for a certain resource, go to First, select the county of your choice and then choose the category that you are interested in. For example, if you are a grower in Kern County and you want to know how to contact your County Agricultural Commissioner, just click “Kern County” at the top right hand of the page, then click “County Agricultural Commissioner” from the categories listed below, and hit “Search.” Now, if you want to access contact information for certain resources located throughout the state, then do not select a specific county but instead simply choose the category you are interested in.

Over 40 different categories are listed on our Industry Resource Map. Two of the largest categories are the bee broke and beekeepers listing. Right now, there are a total of 210 bee brokers and beekeepers listed on our Resource Map. These companies represent 27 states across the nation, and even a business located in Australia. With bees as a vital element of almond production, the Almond Board’s Resource Map is especially helpful in forming partnerships between almond growers, bee brokers and beekeepers.

The Industry Resource Map attests to the almond industry’s broad scope. If you would like your own business to be listed on our Industry Resource Map, please visit and scroll down to the “Request New Resource” tab on the right side of your screen.
