The new indoor heat standard coming for California recently changed a key requirement. “Originally the standard had spoken to 80 degrees but has since been changed to 82,” AgSafe Assistant Director of Education Anna Genasci said.

The standard looks very similar to the current outdoor heat regulation. Genasci said this standard will require a lot of new record keeping as temperatures need to be taken and documented once you hit that 82-degree threshold.
