California Farm Bureau Establishes a Rural Disaster Fund

californiaEven as wildfire season nears its end, there are roughly 10 fires burning across the state according to Cal Fire.

The Camp Fire in Northern California has burned through more than 150,000 acres. Firefighters have contained roughly 70 percent.

California Farm Bureau Federation has established a Farm and Rural Disaster Fund to help the farms, ranches and rural communities who were unwillingly destroyed by the fires.  The fund which was created under CFBF’s California Bountiful Foundation will also aid folks damaged by floods other natural disasters if and when they occur.
