Treatment Option Could Be Phased Out
Cooperative Extension Farm Advisor Kris Tollerup says treatments for ant colonies are limited, and one option might be getting phased out in the near future. Tollerup says the other option is better, however. Baits are intended to target the nest and take out the colony for a longer period of time, although Tollerup says new studies are showing a faster repopulation of colonies.
