With the holiday season in full swing now, we’re all likely to be around a lot of food over the next month or so. Now scientific research proves there’s a simple way to keep cravings under control and ward off holiday weight gain.

Researchers were looking at the influence of almonds on appetite and weight by adding just an ounce and a half of almonds per day either as a snack or incorporated into a meal.

Manager of Global Health and Nutrition Communications for the Almond Board of California Jenny Heap explains this new research comes from a respected scientific source.
