The strawberry industry in California is continuing to research their water use and is always looking for best management practices.
Strawberry Industry Always Looking Forward
California Strawberry Commission President Rick Tomlinson says the strawberry industry has become pretty efficient when it comes to their water use but that doesn’t mean they stop researching practices. He says they continue to push research that explores new ways to grow strawberries and recent efforts have allowed them decrease grower’s water use even more.
