There’s not much you can do about the weather. But if you’re a pear grower you can learn about how the latest research and how it can help your crop this year. On Wednesday, February 13th in Ukiah, the North Coast Pear Research meeting is being held.
It’s a chance to meet up with old friends, make new ones and learn.
Among the topics – evaluation of potential new size-controlling rootstocks for European pears; Improved media for micro propagation of dwarfing pear rootstocks; Integrated floor management in North Coast pear orchards; And identification of pear scab resistance and Identification and control of pear canker diseases in California.

Again the North Coast Pear Research meeting is set for Wednesday, February 13th at the Ukiah Agricultural Center- 890 North Bush Street in Ukiah.
