The World Ag Expo is less than two weeks away and there are a number of seminars on irrigation for attendees this year. Sabrina Hill has more.

Anyone interested in irrigation will have the opportunity to learn all about it at a series of seminars at the World Ag Expo. The irrigation seminars are scheduled for the expo’s final day, February 14th.

The first seminar of the will be on mechanized irrigation strategies and how different irrigation systems provide value both upstream and downstream of dairy operations. The next is about using center pivots and linears for chemigation. That one will also cover safety, products, calibration of application and general operational guidelines. Expo attendees can also learn about energy management in irrigation, online monitoring and control systems, simplifying micro-irrigation system design, aeration in subsurface drip irrigation, and biggest mistakes in water filtration.

Irrigation isn’t the only seminar subject. There will also be seminars on dairy and beef, as well as international trade and other topics.
