Impending Indoor Heat Standard Looks Familiar

indoorThe developing indoor heat regulation should look relatively familiar to the industry. Cal/OSHA is putting together the language for new indoor heat prevention standards, and a draft is due by January of 2019. Early talk about the new regulation included several points of contention including the type of work, employee clothing, and overall temperature. AgSafe’s Assistant Director of Education Anna Genasci said the language is looking similar to a current heat standard.
