Helping Dairies Manage Nitrogen

AgNet West reported about DeJager Farms and its project which is trying to figure out how to get the nutrients from lagoon water through drip tape and to their feed crops efficiently. Netafim is a partner in the project and Product Manager Dennis Hannaford says the company wanted to find a way for dairies to reduce their nitrogen runoff, and he says the system should increase yields by using that nutrient-rich water efficiently.
