The USDA says sensitive avocado varieties are stressed and regreening is becoming more common in Valencia oranges all because of the heat. Meanwhile, the cotton crop is benefiting from the heat and is progressing well, also with low insect pressure. The heat is also causing accelerated crop development in almonds.
