Fresno County Agriculture Commissioner Les Wright says the psyllid was found in the part of Fresno County that was already quarantined because of the psyllid discovery near the Tulare County town of Dinuba.

Wright says it’s always discouraging to hear of additional findings of Asian citrus psyllid because with each psyllid found it increase the odds of Huanglongbing disease in California. Huanglongbing kills citrus trees and has already caused severe problems for Florida’s citrus industry.
