Kevin McCarthy, Devin Nunes and David Valadao sent a letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein, stating in part quote “While we appreciate your call to appoint a federal drought task force and a federal drought coordinator, congress itself has the authority, the ability and the duty to help Californians overcome this crisis.”
The letter points out the House has passed an act which would have raised water supplies before the current crisis.
