Almond growers have a new practice they can implement around hull split this year to reduce aflatoxin issues. The new tool is AF36, which can be seeded into an orchard before hull split. The product releases non-aflatoxin producing fungi that essentially occupy the spaces where aflatoxin-producing fungi can grow. ABC’s Bob Curtis Explains.
